Put the tins on last night and just sat the oil stuff on top to see what it's gonna look like. Obviously need to put carbs and fan stuff together. But I'm happy with it so far.

You have me very jealous. I have a '72 Square in Kassan Red. I'm just getting ready to start stripping the interior out to prep her for body/rust work. I'm a long ways away from where you are now...

Looking very nice except for that rear stance & camber. That's not the finished stance is it? Confused

No no.
Those aren't the wheels I'm going to be using either. It also doesn't have a motor so I might be forced to raise the rear one click.
But I haven't lowered the front yet either. So it just depends on the height I decide on for that and then adjust the rear and get them matching.

Basically what he's trying to tell you Mike, is that he set it up like that to make spraying the roof easier. Wink IF you've ever painted a roof before, you know that being able to almost reach all the way across it helps get a better finish. Very Happy
Looks good Luke. Cool I like the color. This car has come a long way since you started on it last summer.
You're probably going to have to raise the rear a spline, as the weight of the engine and glass will cause it to drop even more than it currently is. Wink

Thanks! It's still got a ways to go but I'm hoping it doesn't take too much longer.
As far as the roof goes though, you're right. And it still turned out to have the most orange peel. Just super hard to spray evenly and accurately. But being that low helped. It's mostly the middle that didn't turn out.
Yea. I'm raising it one click this week. It doesn't really have any travel right now and I don't think the exhaust will fit under the apron.
I also ran into an issue last night. I got type 1 j tubes instead of type 3. So won't be all together until next week.
But getting closer to running.

Odds and ends. Door scrapers. Door handles. Felt. Resealed the vent windows.
Still a small chance I could go to bugapaluza. But I doubt it.
Unless someone wants to come help with getting it running. Motor is assembled minus j tubes and carbs and the belt.
