Its been many years since I had this seat and for some reason I cant find any other photos of it. I dont specifically recall if it was out of a 60 or 61 but it was a double door deluxe and had the plastic fluted handle. Would be neat to still have it. I guess thats a fairly rare seat then if its actually one year only.

Thanks for the info! Now, do any of you know where I can purchase the material to recover the '58 middle seat? I believe it's "soft green". I heard there was a company in Japan that sold a material that was close to the original in color. If I can find some material I also need to figure out how much to purchase. I'm going to recover front, middle and rear. |
The had an ad on here for a while, I can't seem to find it right now. Also, you can just call Octavio down in Orange County, he makes the seat covers as well as Douglas Denlinger or of course lenny at west coast classics. |

There it is! $1188 for a complete interior material. (18m). I should have my couch recovered. _________________ - Chris

Hello, is it possible to identify the right year and color of these seats?
I would like to use them for my '64 kombi changing the cover.

Crazy indeed....55-58 door panels, with early barndoor armrests on the door panels, flat back seats. Now bonus points for the person who finds it! _________________ Transporter Restorations

Post pictures of your seat to see what measurements you need. |
