I bought a Fox tail light from him back in May. When I got the tail light it was cracked, all the broken plastic was in the box so it obviously happened while it was being shipped.

I emailed Pete and he told him the light was broken. He told me he would collect the insurance from DHL and give me my money back. I checked with DHL and he did file the claim but I never got the money.

So now 3 months later I am pretty sure I got burned here, I email him about once every 2 weeks to check and see where my refund is but he doesn't answer.

The cost of the transaction was only $28 which is not alot, but I have email after email of him telling me he is going to help me out and he never did.

I realize that DHL broke the light but he is the one that has the insurance/ registered the claim and is the only one that can get me my money.

Proper packaging would have prevented this whole mishap I over pack anything I ship ask Blankmange and the others I have shipped to
It is the responsibility of the shipper to package items so that this should not happen. DHL IS THE WORST FREIGHT COMPANY to ship with in fact I have dropped their service at the company I work for unless our customers insist on it even then I try to talk them out of it. Good luck on your refund.

Thanks Bro, I agree that the packaging was inadequate. Fox tail lights are extremely fragile and the box was just slightly larger than the tail light itself. I mailed out bus tail lights and one cracked in the mail, I sent out a new one the next day no questions asked.

u get burned for playin' by the rules
time is lost, that's the cost
oh brother you got **** on in the end

Here is a quote from an email I got from him on the 12th of Sept. He sent me the tail light on May 30th and all this time I have been waiting for my refund. I figured I'd ask him one more time for a refund for my broken tail light

I finally did get my refund, probably as a result of this post. He stopped responding to my calls and emails so I sent him a link to this post. I got my refund and he requested I make things right on this post, so yes, everything is settled, I finally got my refund, it only took 1/2 a year
