My faucet for the sink is not working and I will not have time to mess with it before the next camping trip. Anyway my question is this, has anyone used the water tank as a beer cooler? I was thinking two cases of beer and some ice? I will drain the ice as it melts. Any thoughts or something I am missing as to why I should not do this? Thanks!

If the tank side of the van is in the sun I imagine the ice will melt pretty fast. I often get pretty warm water from the faucet when camping.

Do it, I'll be in Co. Next month. I could use a nice cold one when I arrive

condensation on the outside of the tank/cooler would then run down and saturate that area of the floor/rockers. further accelerating rust and decay.

If your camper has a water tank, why not just fix or replace your fridge!?

My Truckfridge runs spectacularly and keeps the beer cold!
