Is my bus rare? 1960 split window walkthrough 11 window

I have a 1960 model split window bus that is a 11 window walkthrough. I was told that these are rare being as it is a walkthrough and most walkthroughs from this time are panel buses. Is that true? Im just putting it together now.. its been sitting for 10 years and a good 15 before I purchased it and was shipped originally to san francisco with a build date of aug 59. Mango green although the paint isnt really there any more.. and pretty mild rust... drivers floor a little rusted through a little bit in the middle section by the cargo doors and driver side rocker. other than that pretty straight bus. Asking this because im told i should get an insurance appr for it before i start driving it.. thanks!

I wouldn't label them rare more like uncommon. I've only owned five split buses in 35+ years and one was a 62 walkthrough 11 window.

I would suggest getting an insurance carrier that will agree upon a value for the bus when you sign up for the policy. You don't want to have to fight over the value of your bus after an accident or theft.
What would it cost to replace the bus? Probably $10k or more, but I am a little out of touch with current prices.

There are a number of 59-61 w/t mango buses. But don't worry about if it is rare or not. It's a cool bus. Show us pics!
