I've always lusted for a sunroof syncro, but could never find one.
So I'd like to add a decent sized, sunroof to my tintop, doesn't need to be too fancy, a simple pop up with a removable panel would be fine, maybe 2x3'
problem is the curve of the roof, pretty much rules out everything on the market Sad
I've searched and found some pics, but no info on a source?
like this ..but remember its a tintop

I did a quick Google search for Aftermarket Sunroofs. A ton came up. Realize that when you cut the hole for it, in most cases you could be killing the resale value. No affiliation but was at the top of my Google Search. http://www.webasto.com/us/markets-products/car/aftermarket-sunroofs/

I put one over the driver's areas on my carat (in conjunction with a CHC top in the back). Yes the glass is flat and the roof is curved, but it went in fine, the seal is tight, and it looks great where it is. Granted my roof line has a lot going on (CHC top, grab bars, and awning) so its just part of the mix.

see bottom of page 1 and the pics on page 2 of this thread for install.

Thanks Steelhead I checked out your post and pics,but... Yep this is exactly the issue I'm finding.
I checked out the links, theres no vanagon specific content I can find?
i've looked at a lot of sunroofs curvature and I'm not finding one.
I found a nice bus specific unit, and a bug unit too(both are more curved than our vans.)
..but no love for the vanagon yet Sad
I'm looking for that perfect flush fit
