I have been told that was an optional model,VW Mexico sold them to farmers.

I think i saw a vintage advertisement for one once. I seem to recall there were cows in the picture that made me laugh for some reason.

I don't remember if there were cows actually in the vehicle itself or not. I wish I could find it online to share...

I saw one of those truck tops for sale for 50bucks (I think) in Socal a while back... There is a photo of this type of top on this post.
