Cigarette lighter not working.....

Hi all, new to the forum. Was about to hook up a fan to my '80 Westy cigarette lighter for some cool breezes while driving when I realized it did not work. The other adapter (small metal one, BMW adapater needed) does not work either. I think it might be my fuse. Can anyone weigh in? Where is that fuse located? What type is needed?

I don't know if it's the same fix but I just replaced the 8 amp fuse in my '74 Westy. It was fuse #8. Now not only does my outlet work, but emergency flashers and dome light as well.

Thanks! I will check the #8 slot...only thing is my flashers and dome light work. Any other suggestions out there (someone with an 80-83 air-cooled?)
