small tail box may be a Glitterbug, The Tarantula also had a small box and I think the Corsair may as well. Dash design might bring this id home. The Giltterbug usually had emblems but not all of the time (this one does not)

That is what I am thinking. A late Sears Rascal with the large tail, or a Terra Buggy, who I understand made the Rascal for Sears.

Vintagevolks just saw the note on dunebuggy have one exactly like it out front mine was a sandflea it originated in Oldsmar Fl the top is after market just got mine running after a year of building. The tag is under the dash on firewall in passenger compartment if your's still has one

And as for value, depends on "market" maybe $1000 if its dead, maybe $5-7000 all cleaned up for "show" and derivable...
