Sent the exact amount for the parts+shipping+paypal fee on the 17 of august. After not getting a confirmation or hearing from the seller, i sent an email on the 24 of august asking when would my order be shipped. He replied to me on the same day that the parts were being shipped that day.

On the 9 of september i still had not received the parts (10 business days) so i sent an email asking when the parts were shipped, if there was a tracking number and if he had any idea of the shipping time to canada. Now we are the 11 and still have not receive an answer from him.

Hopefully this is just a matter of slow shipping / slow customs / and iam gonna get the parts soon but iam disappointed that i did not get a email back from him... Will keep posting when things get sorted out...

UPDATE of my previous post.

After my email, Robert replied to me with his phone number.
We spoke on the phone wich reassured me to talk to him and he said the parts were shipped and that the post office told him it could take up to 3 weeks... a few days after i got what i ordered.
In the end iam really happy!

Tried contacting Robert, or whomever, about a HWE roof rack 4 times. No respnose, yet I noticed everyday that they were checking in on The Samba. Oh well.

Don't know what the problem is but seems uninterested in communicating/selling parts. I've e-mailed him three times over several weeks about buying several items and haven't received a response or acknowledgement of my query.

His ads show as being updated in that time, so I can only presume that he's been on-line.

Kind of a shame since his prices seem reasonable and he's almost local. Oh well, other vendors out there.

bought some wiper blades from Robert, he is smart enough to list the price, the shipping price, and paypal address in his ad. I sent him the paypal, He shipped the next business day, I got my stuff a few days later. Thanks

He has some springs for sale and even communicated with me about them. I had the impression that I could buy them from him weeks ago. He hasn't answered any of my e-mails since (during which time I could have bought springs from other people).

I'm not sure if I should be frustrated or worried about him.

Shipping was fast, but I received aftermarket valve covers! no VW stamp logo, Crappy fit! Paint was missing in areas!

No response from email when I've asked about why he sent aftermarket parts!.
