my thing dies out of know were i think the battery ground is bad what do u think im am krunning a compufire disix ignition and ij jsut die wait like 5-10 mins and will fire back up

If you think your ground is bad, how about trying to fix it? Perhaps something is wrong with fuel delivery if you can start it back up in 5-10 minutes. Have you tried to do anything to remedy the problem?

Feel your coil the next time it dies, if it's hot replace it. Driving for a good length of time, then it dies and restarts after a few minutes is a classic sign of a coil going south.
Eventually it will never restart if it's the coil.

Sounds like a rusty gas tank to me- check your fuel filter, is it nasty? Check your carb, is it grody to the max?
