These people have an interesting take on mufflers. Looks like they have some configs that would work for us...

I asked if anybody ever installed a spintech. No replies of course. I had them on my 72 Camaro. Replaced the flow masters that caused drone. Spintech sounds awesome on V8

Many years ago I spent many pages doing calculations to build a kind of folded version of the 2 stroke expansion chamber into a muffler, to try to create minimum back pressure with minimum noise. Mine was quite clumsy when built with the techniques at hand, but did prove it was possible. Now someone is making a muffler just like it. As a physicist, I gave up on the spintech line of thinking as there is just no way to avoid complex resonances at fairly unpredictable points (remember, you don't always have the same throttle opening or load at a given rpm, and the temperatures can vary greatly.)

While it might have a "great sound" on a V8, it probably also has very annoying drone at times.

Found a YouTube video. Bug with a spin tech. Very poppy noise. Not sure I liked it
