This is called The Moon Walker. A friend built this from a 70 westy, and equipped it with a stroker engine. Thought i'd share some pics for everyone here Cool

It could go on the dunes if desired, but it is just mainly something to cruise around town, and it is fully street legal. I road in it today & it's fun as hell!

Street legal without any bumpers? And without license plates? I'm skeptical... Confused

I'm sure that would be fun to cruise around in, but....

Where the cab roof meets the body behind the passenger's seat has me scared. Shocked
Is that "windshield" laminated glass? Tempered at very least?
I'm guessing OR doesn't have state vehicle inspections?

yes it is street legal, and it has a plate on the left rear fender. No inspection necessary here. It is a crude setup to say the least. I will ask the owner what that cab is from. The front windshield is a side window that slides open, i think it is laminated.

Con , we know each other ..I wouldn't bullshit ya.

that thing is not even close to being street legal. nor is it legal to run on the dunes..

he may get away with a trip or two across Roseburg, by the 3rd time I'll be sitting in taylors with a $1600 impound fee tag on it.

i mean dam at first glance I count 6 major things

that windshield alone is worth 3 counts, rear fenders will get you 2 more on each side.. having a plate means nothing but having a working light on it does..

better know in oregon you might want front and rear bumpers before hitting the streets and a front plate.

again in oregon you don't HAVe to have a windshield but if you do the wiper better be operable that one isn't that doesn't mean its motor runs and the arm moves.

on the dunes #1 requirement, must have a roll bar able to support that vehicles weight . plus in the case of having a rear seat that also must be protected.

A tee pee exhaust using a stringer will never meet there noise level. A dune cops award is higher that a city cops. they would also impound it. Then mask bros would be wanting a good $2400 tow and impound fee's.

Tell him to go buy 4/5 sticks of 1 1/2" tube, a 35lb roll of .030 wire. bring it here , bent up some tube. I'll tack it up. Then take it to your house to finish welding. paint the sucker and have a real nice machine

street or sand.

Moon Walker kicks ass on that thing all day long Razz I have seen this thing driving all over the place, and it's never been pulled over to my knowledge. Just saying it's made alot more than 1 or 2 trips across town. It even has special interest tags Laughing
