When I redid the cargo rocker on "The Turd" this past month, a PO had riveted and brazed a cargo rocker right on top of the original rusty one. Of course, by the time I got the bus (16 months ago) both were rusted through. So, today I go to remove and replace the long side. Again there was a 12" section of rocker riveted, welded and Bondo'd on top, under it was an 8"piece riveted and brazed like the other side, and THEN the original. Again...all three layers rusted out. So...I was running five rockers at one time. Anybody tie or beat that, or do I get the award? Rolling Eyes

I might have you beat but that depends on your perspective I guess.

Original Rocker, more or less

Layer of standard home window screen with what I can only assume at this point to be bondo holding it in place, I think they were going for a fiberglass and resin style repair with what ever they had in the barn at the time.

On top of that was tar covered galvanized sheet metal that was pop riveted through the aforementioned layers.

This was all covered over and smoothed out with copious amounts of bondo to get a nice even looking rocker panel. Laughing

Both sides got the treatment.

If awards are to be awarded pictures should be required for the judges.

I'm pleased that we're now hearing about the shittiest rockers on earth. I'm also thrilled that I seem to have THE MOST... Five actual factory and/or actual sheet metal rocker in total layered on top of each other. Mine are nowhere near as crappy as some of the above, but I will acctpt the award for "mostest"!

How about a rocker fiberglass over holes and bondo over that, and to top it off how about a nice packed full of wasps nests.

Again...the thread I started is about "mostest" (quantity), not "shittiest (quality). I've already taken the award without any close competition...kinda like how the Baltimore Ravens gave the Pittsburgh Steelers a major whooping last night. We beat them worse than Ray Rice....never mind. Anyway, yours doesn't even look close to the shittiest, but the wasps are a nice touch. Rolling Eyes

perhaps someone was giving a geography lesson and all they had was bondo? They wanted to show what the state of Kentucky looked like:
