|
|
The thread "10 Vans in Baja 9 days" became a bit proprietary, so let's begin anew:
Each year around February, I drive into Baja California with a few friends in search of new adventures, companionship and great camping. Last year there were five vans. There is no limit to the number. We rallied at the Walmart in Ensenada and plotted our track from there.
I am going again this year in early February, and invite all the usual suspects and any others to join us with an open itinerary, adventurous palate and plenty of firewood!
Stay tuned for further developments . . . _________________ '90 White Westy ("Knarr")

We were looking to join the group this year but didn't get to go.
Hopefully this time we can make it happen.
I will be watching this thread.
Sounds like a great time together! _________________ 1987 Syncro Westfalia Hightop - NAHT

Pin in the calendar date - meet up @ Ensenada Walmart on 5 Feb 2015 - flexible.
We will probably spend two nights at the first campground (wherever), to let people catch up. Bring handheld radios. Plenty of time for planning. I have no special itinerary, so figure out what you want to see and where you want to go, and we'll make it up in Ensenada or at the first campsite.. _________________ '90 White Westy ("Knarr")

You can stay as long as you like, as its not a guided tour. When we decide where everyone wants to go, you can decide when to turn north to the border. I will probably be down there for two weeks or so. _________________ '90 White Westy ("Knarr")

We look forward to joining you Sam! We will aim to stay more than 2 weeks though this year. I'll have some dancing to do with work but am confident we'll work it out. |

If it's the same group as last year, do we meet again in Ensenada and then shotgun it further south to where we broke off last year? Just curious. |
