got the bus home and in the garage. quite a story to go with it.hers a photo of it loaded and the guy who gave me the bus standing next to it. cobbled rear wheel parts of a 70 bus using 2 5/16 grade 5 bolts on each side. cant believe it held together.

Wow, I'm impressed man! But what the hell is that thing on the side that looks like an old office chair welded to the body!?

Ship that bitch to me, and I'll roll it as is. Just do enough work to get it driving. Not even going to bother putting in windows.

thanks for all your input.you may or may not have noticed that this thread is kinda old.I recently bumped it back up to show someone the bus.It currently sets in my garge on stands.I have rounded up some restorable semafores with wiring from the "crushed oval" I found.I would like to see this bus make it back to the road. But I have too many other projects right now.If anyone wants to try and save it please email me offers on the bus.I will through in the semafores too.I figure around $300.00 would take it.

Hi humfrydog,
You need the front and rear suspension from a late 1955 through July 1967 bus. While all the cut out body sections are a pain, they are easy pieces to get replacements for because except for the rear wheel wells they are almost always still intact on a junked bus. Because it is a semaphore panel and so early, we would suggest trying to save it.

I know of a thrashed late 50's panel around here. I think the upper rear corners were still good. You interested? I could call up the junk yard if you are.
