I got a couple pairs at Last years Utica park show in Angels Camp. They dont screw on though, they snap right into the vents. Can't remember the seller offhand. Mabey VWSwap would know. I'm thinking Vintagewheels had them but I'm not sure. And to answer your ? j.pickens, they work great for a place that gets 100+ in the summer. I'll take all the breeze I can get! |

I bought a set about 2 1/2 years ago from a guy on ebay with the username of "vwracer3" It sounded like he was making them and he had a bunch of sets. He may still have some if you contact him. They work great and are super easy to install. _________________ Insert random important looking club initials here. |

Doesn't it dry your hair faster when you're pushing your bus? _________________ - JHC de Tejas - |

i had an extra louver panel from a 65 split. i cut out 1 louver for each side and they fit up there on the fresh air vent real good and looks kinda cool because it matches the louvers outside at the back of the bus. makes a big difference. |

Hey guys... I am the one that makes these wind deflectors. I have not seen the ones that are made from aluminum and snap in yet. But, about 5 years ago I had the first sets made and took them to the Classic were Rocky Mountain Motor Works wanted to put them in thier catalog. The problem was that they did not want to buy more than 10 pairs at a time and I could not give them any discount based on those numbers. They were selling them for like $45...yikes. So needless to say, they did not sell very well, plus no one knew what they were anyways. So I would just sell them myself.... and again I could not sell enough to get the price down to what I even think is fair... ($15).... they are not cheap to make when the production runs are so short... I had 150 pairs made the last time and still couldn't get the price down as low as I'd like it... I have a few pairs left and when they are gone I am not sure if I will have any more made... Thanks to those that have bought a pair and I hope you like them.. Chris |

Made this one from a plate that had 3 holes punched out for gauges. The "vents" are from a fatchick.
