looks dark but maybe it is one of the buses we had in germany to take people to and from the hospital, not REALLY ambulances
depending on who ran them they could be quite dark, and they would have had ambulance dividers.
katastrophenschutz maybe? _________________ regards

I am guessing that it is a VERY early '66. like 3 years early...
that bus is quite obviously a 1963 model.
no idea on the color. cool bus. _________________ .

I know it's not, but it looks like Westy brown interior paint. _________________ WANTED:

Looks khaki to me which is (was) a military colour used on military vehicles still to this day. Could have been an officer transport bus for a military base?
Does the owner have any history on this bus? _________________ My brother & I on the roof of Dad's Splitty circa 1967 - I'm the half pint with the skinny legs! |

Neat, I was not aware of that.
Good catch on the 1963, not 1966.
I didn't look super close at the M-code plate (surprisingly) or obviously some other attributes of the Bus like the back hatch and 63 Kombi style middle seat. _________________ How to Post Photos

Im thinking an ambulance color in a European market
Mplate reports it as an 'unknown special color'
