No Brad, just the buggy's.
The guy I got the buggy's off of picked up a stash of a early convert T1, 2 more T1's, 3 T2's, (all splits) and 3 buggy's.
That panel is rough, but can still be saved. He has already stripped the SCab down to it's bones and awaiting on metal to rebuild. I did not get to see the third T2, he had not went to pick it up yet.
All originally from Mississippi and brought to OH. _________________ Bad News Racing 2018 NORRA 1000 3rd in Class

Uhhh, they were literally in a "hippie" camp for at least 35 years. No seats in them but otherwise fairly complete. |

I thought I might have a new find to report- a guy at work tells me;
"hey you lookin for more buses? I found one of those bus trucks like you got, the pickup trucks! It's white on the top and has a big V shape on the front, and the bottom of the V is green, just like yours! Been sittin forever! Sittin right next to an old blue and white ford blah blah blah"
I whip out my phone and track it down on google maps in front of him on street view, using his location description before he can walk away. "You mean this??? That's a bay window, and also not a truck" I said.
"No no no" he corrected me. "That is the house, but that isn't the truck I saw! I'll check it out again on my way home".
The next day he comes in all apologetic, and starts blaming the sun that was in his eyes, and he was half asleep, and there is a blue tarp on it now making it look like a truck. And he has no idea why he thought it was green with a V. lol.

^ I thought I would wind up with a Bay window as well, but...
So some guy randomly emails says he has a bus for sale and sends me a picture.
So, yeah. What am I supposed to do? His directions are super vague, and about 10 hours driving time away, in the middle of nowhere. RIGHT. I talk to him a bit more and he seems serious and not just trolling me and I have nothing better to do, so I set off on my journey. Expecting the worst (a 20 hour round tripper) but I wound up with a nice object!
As I was smiling ear to ear (I won't get into the 8 hours of loading it from a really tricky location), I got pulled over. Whee! Didn't even bother me. The BC RCMP guy was a little put off by me agreeing to everything that he didn't even give me a fine. But he had to tow my truck and trailer because of some tight British Columbia Dot restrictions. Alberta is more redneck I guess (my truck is a beast, it has a winch hanging off the deck and it probably is the ugliest truck in oil boom town Alberta, but I saves my money for buses!).
They towed me to a yard and the tow guy was nice enough to drop me off at a hotel. It was a bit worrying to leave my nice treasure trove in some random town yard, but the cop said he would personally check on it! In the morning, I got things sorted out and headed home.
Don't know what the plan for it is yet. _________________ "There is only one sin; disconnection from self." |

Wow, nice bus! Nice to have it fall into your lap as well. Well worth the long drive and overnight ordeal. |
