picture is dated 1952 and the caption reads
Herbsttreffen der VW Hunderttausender in Erbach: li das älteste 1952 erhaltene VW Modell mit der Fabriknummer 03 von 1938, re ein Porsche 356 A - 1952

It says number three from 1938.
Wasn´t the Raffay car the third of the serial production from 1939?
So the description has the wrong year or it is an other car.

Yes, I believe it is.
I have seen other pictures of the Raffay '39, claiming that it is #03 from 1938.

A close up would be good.
Has the front hood a sharp corner?

Compared with split behind there, the hood seems to have sharp corners, but as said, the resolutuion is too low to judge properly.

I'll try to get upload the close ups later, but they don't show the hood corners
This other two pictures are in a different topic in this subforum, supposedly the same car.
