Question for you - are the three pages you have pictured in your post all part of the same "certificate" that they offer for 50 euros?
I guess I don't understand exactly what information the optional "data sheet" that they offer for 35 euros (or an additional 25 euros if purchased with a "certificate") would include.
If I understand correctly what they are describing, it simply sounds like the "data sheet" would include general information about that particular model for the given year.
I would think that that kind of general information should be readily available for free on the Interwebs. |
7 months ago when I ordered mine it was all included for 50 Euros. Now they have separated them into certificate and data sheet and looks like they went up a few Euros.
Obviously my first pic is the certificate, the second is the data sheet and the third is just their letter stating the engine isn't original. They no longer provide you the original engine ID, they only confirm what you give them due to fraud. I guess people have taken that number and stamped it into rebuilt blocks and claiming that it's original numbers matching. _________________ -Jared

I think it may be more subtle than that. I think they won't put the VIN and engine numbers in the same document because that would really help the thieves and fraudsters. _________________ Festina lente - hasten slowly

That too. In the past there were ripoff artists that would get a cert and stamp the correct numbers and then try to sell the car saying it was all original. Thieves will do it as well. Makes things harder for us honest folks. _________________ -Jared

I received my Birth Certificate today! Ordered on Dec. 11, 2014. Only took eight and a half months. Pretty interesting. It was built on New Years Eve 1957 and shipped to Italy on Jan. 18 1958.

Sometimes they cant read the microfilm. They don't know the codes, they just copy the info over from the manufacturing notes onto your certificate.
Rosewith Hendel, by the way, is a woman. _________________ -Jared

Just received mine, built on 29 August 67, so I guess that matches for a 68 reg car. Surprised to see that. It's original colour was L41 black, there absolutely no trace of it anywhere that I can see.
I too have an unidentified M code, 077.
However, the one that I've not seen mentioned anywhere on here is on the enclosed US equipment sheet, Ram Protection.
Any ideas what that is? |

Just placed the order for mine a couple of days ago. Seems like it WILL take the 8 months that they mention on the site, from what I've read on this thread _________________ Instagram: @juanskombi

Ordered my BC in may. Early June they charged my credit card. I have not seen my BC. Can anyone tell me how long after you get charged can it take to get the certificate? |

Yep..ordered mine last year in may...showed up around Thanksgiving. You need to know there is one woman, Rose Hendel, who is researching microfiche and typing up your certs. Takes her some time. _________________ -Jared

Just received. Took exactly 7 months. I guess they are getting quicker
Nice to read "We are happy to confirm with this letter that the above engine number is that of the original engine." And current paint is original color too. Certainly helps me rationalize the time and money going into this little project.
My son, the New England Patriots fan (American football) will be happy to hear its first home was Boston.
I must say having this certificate and a peek into its actual history makes me appreciate this car even more. _________________ 1971 Ghia coupe. Assume I know nothing and you'll be pretty darn close to the truth. |

Ordered mine on 9/6/15 and received it yesterday 3/19/16. A little over 6 months, not bad. The '68 Ghia even has its original engine. _________________ 1968 Ghia Coupe AKA "Harley"

Got my Zertifikat in the mail today. Ordered it on October 18, 2015.
According to the Zertifikat my '69 Sunset Red Coupe was built on September 5, 1968 and shipped on September 9, 1968 to Los Angeles.
They were also able to confirm my car has its original motor.
