I did not use an adhesive on the seals attached to the door frame. The flatter side rests against the pop-out frame, the curvier side of the seal faces toward the interior of the cab. I'll look to see if I shot any close-up photos of the installed seal in my build thread.

Here is the only photo I shot showing that seal on the door frame, perhaps you can see the curved side facing in...

What's up with the pop out opening the wrong way? Shouldn't that one be opening forward? _________________ -Adam

Does anyone have the accurate measurements for the pop out glass?
I bought glass that was advertised as taken from a pop out bus, but it is about 1/4 inch too big for my pop out frames. |

Sounds like you got sold "stationary glass" that got popped out of a bus.
If it is, you should be able to resell it. |

Pop out outer frame Rubber needs to bend out towards exterior, so it lays flat when window is pulled closed. So does that mean, long side without the groove faces down / towards interior? I guess a picture would help.. _________________ BreckSkier

Does the seam (where the rubber is joined) in the seals go at the top (12 clock position) or bottom?
I see bullibill has his outer pop out seams at the top can't tell on the others, is this correct?
do all three seams go in the same spot? |

Ping.... The worst sound.
I believe when the old screw were drilled out, they didn't line up properly. So when I tried to get new screws in, it pulled the frame too tight & ping....
I guess it happens. _________________ BreckSkier

I don't know if the WCM inner glass seals I got were in "mid run" but some were very tight (had to stretch all the way around) and some were almost too loose. _________________ Conrad @ Air Coolers VW Gang http://aircoolers.org

Has anyone used the top half of a rusty pop-out to fix the rusty bottom of another? Is is worth the trouble?
You could build a quick wooden jug to keep the window opening the same size. Cleaning out the outter seal channel groove could be difficult.
Any imput appreciated. _________________ WANTED:
