I am an air-cooled guy looking at buying a 1985 Doka. What should I be on the lookout for when checking it out? Common rust areas etc?

What are the best parts sources around? Thanks.

Everywhere... You will not find a clean one without paying serious $$, and even then it is only a matter of time.

Most parts are compatible, but for specific doka items, you will be shopping in EU.

Anything from the bulkhead back is getting hard to find now, quite a lot of panels obsolete.

Biggest ball ache is the bottom of the bulkhead where it meets the load bed. If that's grotty it can involve a lot of melting metal and grinding.

All mechanicals are the same.

As has been said, you can still get parts, ebay.de , neuffer etc
