Bought this early panel today, first tubular tranny mount bus I've ever owner. Found it in Illinois, couldn't believe how nice cargo floor is. The number stamped in bulkhead is 161714, does that make it December of 55??? |

That's the body number on the bulkhead, not the vin.
Vin is stamped directly below the vin plate in engine compartment
