M-Plate Decoders
Enter the M-Plate information in the decoder and click on decode.

M-Plate Locations
1968-76 M-Plate is located behind the left front seat.

So you can't get to it without pulling the instrument cluster on a 78?

Only if you want to look straight down on it, reach up in there and take a pic with a phone, or use a mirror, or make a rubbing of it, or squish some playdoh on it and read the impression Wink

I have no tag behind any of the front seats..
The only thing that I have found, besides the one that is under the dash is this...

This one is where yours is......riveted to the fresh air ducting under the dash (3" above the "yellow wire and painted green to make it easy).

I found it... trying to get numbers and letters that I can read...
Tried the phone picture thing and that was a NO GO...
So, tried the pencil and paper trick (stencil) got a few numbers, but I am trying to read what I have now...
Working on it...

I cant read what I've been trying to stencil... Sad
Got a few numbers, but none of it is making any sense right now...
