Wanted - pics of your outdoor camping tables (mounted?)

Howdy all - we are about to hit the road in the bus and i am thinking of adding a table that can be used during camping set up. Just a little one for cutting food, table top ipod, etc.
we dont want to carry a big table with us.
Thinking more along the line of a swing out model maybe attached to the passenger bulkhead or a little shelf model similar to the outside removable, rail mounted tables on our past toy hauler trailers.
Anybody fab up a nice set up?
I can alway appreciate others ideas and fabs so, please, do share...

Have you got the stock westy table? if so then you can use one of those umbrella stakes that you knock into the ground.I found one that fits my westy table perfectly,just make sure you knock the umbrella stake or tube device deep into the ground.
Mine works ok.

Another option is the bracket that fits into the jack hole on the side of the bus.
Also very good.

I also have the Outwell table that folds in two with screw on legs and a net under,its large but fits in the back over the egine compartment no problem.

The country homes table is a hinged table. I could add screw out legs but was hoping to keep it even more minimal for travel. Going to slide the table under our bed from the rear hatch but want to use it out the slider section when the awning is out or be able to briefly use for shorter stops without a lot of set up.

Thinking possible a tube support mounted to the passenger bulkhead that would swing out the slider and rotate up to a vertical position. Thought i saw a pic of one someone had similar to that on here but cant seem to find it...

I just use a little 2x4' folding table I got on Amazon for $50 http://www.amazon.com/Wenzel-97927-Aluminum-Camp-T...camp+table

It's the right height, weather proof, best bang for the buck I found. Not the sturdiest but I didn't need it for much. I throw it in the back under my gear, or I think it almost fits in my tall narrow cabinet to the right of my sink. I bring it every time I camp! Below:

Yeah, we were thinking of those too. It'd be easy ad the wife would probably like that... But of course, i get in fabrication mode and was hoping to think up something like this found in the gallery -

But a little larger and swivels to a horizontal position for storing, May swivel it out the slider and be able to use inside as the weather dictates.
Will do some tinkering the next few days.

Ah, shame has always been overrated....
Thats some nice work there. We saw some of those on other *obviously* happy customers pictures. May be a good option for moving it outdoors.... We don't have a westy table but am planning on using a tube support that i have down in the basement.
Can you tell me the inside diameter of the round tube you use in those?

I put an extra set of brackets on the passenger seat bulkhead and the table pivots out the door or sits behind the passenger seat. Out the door it is more like a bar height table which is good for standing around. The bus does not have swivel passenger seat so it does not interfere there.

We love EZGruv's adaptor and use the table outside the bus in the rear jack point every time we camp. It functions as the kitchen with the coffee pot and toaster on it and the food under it. It stays dry under the canopy by Fancher's upholstery, another Samba vendor.

Got it figured out.
We ended up with a small, portable table we can set up as needed at campsites.
BUT.... not one to leave well enough alone, i had a thought and it wouldnt leave my head so i had to run with it.

I wanted a little table area, sort of a bar-like setting that could hold a beer or two on our teavels and our music, etc. just a little something to utilize unused space....

Started with this...

All materials downstairs in the shop.
Did a quick little attachment and a few modifications to end up with this....

The table attachment locks in any position with the screw friction. Table comes on and off with finger tightened screws on top.
Table off and an edge and pattern routed, just for the 'ell of it!

It aint perfect but it is darn fun... Will throw a coat of shellac on it tomorrow and plan to share a few beers over it in the future. Overall a fun and slightly practical space.

You've been busy! Looks great. It's funny cause mine - I guess most of ours - has the table that folds out from the ice box cabinet but without a cabinet, you had to get a bit more creative. And it's nice that you have that extra space in there, not having the ice box. I like the artistic touches you added as well.

I've seen them in action before, at a flea market. They are sturdy and fold up into a thin suitcase. Won't take up much room in the van at all, and lightweight aluminum. Some older fancier versions you can find out there use wood, and look period correct if that's your thing.
