I feel like pretty much the entire classified page should be one and the same as the whines page. The majority of you on here seems like $$$ is the only thing your interested in anymore. I am a flipper so kinda strange for me to criticize. Making a fair buck on something is one thing but asking 20k plus for a hacked panel or project 13w bus that you beat the owner up on his 2,500$ asking price is nothing but pure greed. Not referring to any bus particular, I just hear story after story from people I guess thinking I'll be impressed by how they are ripping people a new asshole |
I bet if nobody was asking big money for these buses you wouldn't be able to sell yours for the prices you ask... $4500 for a rusted panel, logos washed off, missing the safaris and cut bulkhead ain't no bargain homie. |
I think $4500 for a slider panel is a very fair price even if it is rusted to hell. If it was a deluxe it would go for a lot more, but slider's are way rarer. _________________ ~Tarzan

Rare doesn't always translate into desirable. _________________ 53 Hatch Barndoor

That's funny. It looks like they did a good job, but why start off as an A££ hole in your for sale listing.. If you don't want some low ball offer, just give it a starting price. I always equate "offers" to, "I'm flexible". But It seems he means it more as, "I'm an.... "
Ok, you got me whining now, why go ape poop on a DD panel? Couldn't they find a 23w and hack in a door easier & cheaper?
Would love to know if it really sells and if to anyone with a sense of dignity. _________________ BreckSkier

Yes. it's a well known fact that as the male ages the scrotum tends to relax and sag down further. Hence the term " Low baller" I have no idea why the sellers on this site want to discriminate aginst these older males by stating in their ads " No low ballers" |

It looks like a really nice job. My biggest problem with his ad is that he dosn't want anyone asking how the conversion was done. if your going to spend six figures on a bus weather it be real or a clone you deserve full disclosure. If you have confidence in your product and feel it is priced appropriatly you don't mind telling all. |

Interior pictures are a no brainer, for any car sales... 55k for a westy with zero interior pictures. Really

edit: interior included, but not installed. What you can buy for 50 grand these days? _________________ "If you don't do it this year, you'll be one year older when you do." -Warren Miller |

There was a local auction down here last night with a 1960 23 window walk thru up for grabs.
Went pretty well with a new Aussie price record set. AUD$202,000.
Here is the auction:
