Doing rear brake and backed off adjustment rod but threads are quite rusty on this rod and want to chase it with a thread cutter to clean up and then grease the hell out of it for the future - anyone know? Thanks!

I don't have a direct answer but the two nuts you tighten while adjusting the hand brake are 10mm.

I think you may be confused.... The E-brake adjustment is
6mmx1.00mm... If all else fails get yourself a thread file. One of the
best investment you can make.

By and large, 6mm nuts have 10mm heads.

Thanks, this is the adjustment rod section, mid vehicle location, where both e brake cables join at adjustment rod - pitch 1.0 or 1.25?
