I did a search, cant find a complete thread on early bay complete rocker panel removal and replacement. Both sides, ideally.

Anyone have a thread they know of that I may have missed?

Thanks,

Matt

I am currently replacing the rockers and then some on my 71. I never did really find a dedicated rocker replacement link. I have kind of taken all that I have found here and elsewhere and just dove in. Getting the crooked-ass cip1 lower track assembly in has been very time consuming especially having to reweld an improperly placed track. Almost got'er done.

This is one of the rare instances (aside from ratwell) that the best resource isn't actually on the samba Laughing

This guy does an excellent step by step write up.

DON'T buy the cip1 rockers (klokkerholm), they aren't the right length or height. Or, the middle and inner ones weren't at least.
