I am looking at the reproduction rometsch wheel. Any thoughts on them? does it use an original horn button? I see that CIP1 carries them. Are they flimsy like the flat 4 reproductions?
Thanks

I like it though I know nothing about them. The horn button seems to be a normal deluxe one. If it felt good under my arms and hands I'd roll with it. It looks like my regular '57 Beetle one, stylewise.

If its made by Flat 4, theres a large area at the top to allow for even more flex that their stock one ???
I have a Flat 4 stocky and it does flex but you dont notice it driving.

I have repop bug one (not flat 4) from BBT box says classic design with optional Boss Kit and it seems as solid as the original one in my other vert.

Thats what I thought when I first saw one, even when I first put it on the bus I sat behind it and noticed how much it would flex just pushing it.
I had to use it as I was waiting for a genuine one.
But after driving with it I really cant tell the differance driving.

Anybody have any updated info on the repop Rometsch wheel for the bus? I dig it, since my stock one is pretty well hammered.

!!Thread resurrection alert!!
I just bought a repro Rometsch wheel from a well known vendor. This wheel is a poorly cast Chinese pile. Don't waste your money.
