The Oetiker high pressure crimp clamps are the far superior choice imo... More dofficult to installl and service. That said they are the best at keeping the critical fuel connections crimped and when used with the proper hose won't need to be touched for many years.
Either way Belmetric has a great selection. |

Google norma, aba or breeze clamps. They are good bolt clamps. |

Just don't get the ones with the blue shells, I don't trust them. _________________ 1986 Canadian Syncro Westy TDI - 1989 Syncro Single Cab - 2001 Audi S4 - 1981 VW Caddy ABA - 1980 VW Caddy EV - 1973 VW T-181 |

I was talking to the Parker dealer today about the oetiker clamps while picking up some liner clamps and a knipex pincher tool and he told me that the stepless ear clamps are the right ones to use(edit: on small hoses like our fuel lines) not the high pressure clamp. The stepless ear clamps give even pressure due to the band that slides in the middle. That's what the pro told me at least.

Strange... Oposite of what my local hydraulic guy told me (Pirtek). I hated thise crimp clamps until I got the pliers and found a source that had the proper range of sizes. I will be seeing my supplier later this week and quiz him on it. |
