This is exactly why after 40 years I no longer work on vehicles for the general public. You work your ass off to do the best job possible in a timely manner and then they take their time to pay you and they think it shouldn't be that expensive, after all its just an old VW. Don't let it do you the way it did me, the stress gave me heart attacks. I don't touch their vehicles anymore, and they get upset because no one else around here works on them. They all have a sob story. Stand your ground Skills. If you didn't build it, its NOT your problem. Just my .02 cents. Laughing

Sounds like it has been a long haul, and you are tired. And this is not the only thing going on in your life. Time to step back, take a day off (or two) for yourself, catch your breath and change the perspective. As you said and know, this too shall pass. Your pain is felt.

I know.....its sad but true!....I cant help it!..I just hate the absolute fiction found on internet answer guru sites (how things work....etc.). Its like they formulate the answer with an Ouija board and a bag of dice.

I love that quote. I deal with several hundred people a day face to face. Many great people but dang, it only takes a few who lack realistic accountability for their own ignorance to sour my perspective on humanity. Thank god for the good ones to balance things out. I'm bummed by the cheap ass self entitled D bag you had to deal with.
Hate it, when dummies ruin it for the rest of us.

I was in a job interview once with a well paid sales person. She was in that position because she had done the almost impossible - sell a $100,000 car worth $25,000 to the owner of the company. In the conversation she asked something that has sat with me a very long time.

Q. What is it the one thing drives people when they buy something.

A. Max gain minimum risk.

I've found that to be true in most things in life since she mentioned it in that interview. No one walks into a transaction and says, "Think I'll roll the dice and my entire year of spare time on the chance I might make one dollar." The customer is saying the same - "how little can I risk spending and how much can I get out of this transaction?" Therein lies the dance.

Ray
perhaps you should just use your usual NO!!!!!!!!!!! answer to the weight
of a $1 or a $50 or $100 dollar bill. Confused

and consult the U.S Treasury since even a one dollar bill will be VERY close
in weight with a hundred dollar bill which is ONE GRAM.

You have to be the 3rd most amazing man in the world Rolling Eyes

sorry dude but, you really need to stop trying to be number 1 at the playground and have a little fun.

there................................. I SAID IT Exclamation

Fact is....they dont weigh EXACTLY one gram. Some do...some dont...most are close. Its exexceedingly rare to have two of anything that are printed on anything but metal or glass....that weigh exactly the same anything.

So the buzzkill is that is you have a 50lb bale of them.....there will not be an exact amout of $ for each 50lb weight....fact! Thats why the mint and every bank and drug dealer and casino in the world uses bill counting machines....still.

Dont believe everything you see in a movie or read on the internet.

And....for your BS information. ...I dont care who is number one at the playground. Not my gig dude. Sounds like it pisses you off because you think someone is trying to be. Sounds like an issue.
If it were just a statement in passing quipped from Oceans eleven....I would have just walked on by.......but when its with a notation comes quoted from Answers.com....second in BS only to Wikipedia......I will throw in a correction especially since I know its factually incorrect.

I guess the way of the forum is just to let any quoted BS slide...so everyone repeats it to everyone else as truth......and repeats it and repeats it....

And yet everyone bitches about "parrots" on this site...... Rolling Eyes

Man....thats awesome! You could get a government job with that! Wink

I know they make bill counters that count by weight, I work on them. But they only weigh small quantities of bills so the error doesn't add up to enough to go out of tolerance. As far as calibrating it goes, it doesn't really display conventional units of mass. You just place the quantity of bills it specifies and hit enter and it stores that mass in some arbitrary unit digitally I imagine.

Don't give a damn what they weigh or how you handle them, just put it all in big box and ship it to me. PM me for my shipping address.
