hi all. sorry if there's already a thread on this. I couldn't find one. whats that fuzzy stuff on the underside of my pop top? I mean that stuff covering the ceiling upstairs that comes off whenever I touch it that I am fearful my children will inhale? how have folks gone about removing it and/or sealing it off? Any product recommendations?

It is Flocking.

Most often it is well adhered.

A scrubbed mine with a brush...... No ill effect.

Some scrape it off and then paint or apply a fabric. You can reflock, kits are available.

Not the same fuzz, but this is removeable. For fuzzy flocking I would suggest using a brush, vacuum cleaner, and mask. Then maybe a light silicone spray such as Scotchgard.
