The guitar player is Christian of VC and the yellow panel is Peter's. |
Minor clarification, it was Hawk that was playing the guitar. Christian is playing a Dobro. Here is a quick vid of Christian playing the dobro.

Here's my dad, Bill on the left, and Paul Makuh on the right. Paul is a great mechanic and owns the great shop, Valley Wagon Works in San Rafael, CA. They are teaching me about my coolant leak. The brown van is my Dad's, Ol' Paint, which he has owned for 31 years since he bought it off the lot. They are two of the sweetest guys on the planet.
Here's my van, Blue Dream, in our camp.
The awesomely notorious Van from Bus Lab which saw some snapped steel.
And the rear end of the Bus Lab Van. They ended up needing both spares.
Hawk & Kenz's Vanofmydreams.
This badass Van from Canada won the trophy for best Syncro.
And here are a couple of super nice vans.
Thanks again for the great experience. So honored to be part of your tribe. |

Capaulina I enjoyed kicking at your camp, great conversation. Let your dad know I'm back in Denver. If you guys are ever out my way Let's visit. I'm praying for no flooding just some steady rains for you guys. There is so much agriculture out there. An ominous view on my way home, entire orchid was upended. Dead trees for miles. Being from Colorado and knowing that river was ending up in Cali never seemed right. This trip, like all trips was an eye opener. Water conservation and awareness should be on the rise! Those fields fill many a Colorado produce shelves as well as the rest of the country. I don't feel Palm Springs needs golf courses, but California needs water. As your Dad quoted Whiskey is for Drinking water is for Fighting, Twain. Good times. Those bathroom faucets wasted halve a gallon every use. |

I sold a set of power window regulators and Motors to a guy at SF 15 and held on to his switches and bezels as well.
I have since lost the guys information , I think he is having his Van done at Westy Works in SLO, but not sure.
If you know the guy or are the guy , please contact me so I can ship them ,they are ready to go.
I will call Westy Works and ask around ,but I have his money and would like for him to have his parts.

Stacy,
I installed the replacement mirror glass I got from you at Syncrofest. Easy to install and what a difference new glass makes. Thanks for your help and the campfire chats. _________________ Tim Potts

Glad it worked as advertised, I also enjoyed sitting around the Campfire and Bench Racing as well. I was also amused by your infield oil pan repair.
Such a great show and so many great characters. See ya next year.

Came across another cool Syncrofest video. I don't make a semi-drunken appearance in this one
Has a bit of Jorge's overhead drone footage included (Starts at 47 seconds and does a flyover of the BBQ). I want to see more video from that drone!
