Going to be doing a full resto on my fiberglass roof in a few weeks. I had ordered the tent from van-cafe but will be more complex due to a 4" crack caused from gas struts. I had a set of Bombay shocks which work great with load bars, but an empty roof I couldn't get it to close, pulled down too hard and crack!

No worries I have made surfboards and have resin/cloth.

What do people refinish tops in?

Choices are
marine boat paint (interlux)
Truck bed liner (monstaliner)
Mobile home roof paint

The Bedliner spray is my first choice, but westfalia stickers
Aren't going to like this

Skip the Bedliner--way too rough of a finish--

Interlux, Petit, Imron, or Awlgrip Urethanes will outlive, outwear, and give you 100 times the UV protection that any bedliner refinishing material can possible offer..
Easier to apply too---

Another option... When I repainted my bus I used the same epoxy primer and base/clear that I used on the rest of the body. Works fine.

Dave,

You didn't have the option of rolling & brushing the primer & base / clearcoay on your top.
You had it, you sprayed it on, you were done.

He's looking to buy-- something-- to do his top with.
He has the roll & brush option with the marine urethane-- plus it isn't expensive.
