I am reminded of the magazine "Highlights for Children" from my youth, where the back page had a "what's wrong with this picture" puzzle--my favorite feature.
How many Vanagon upgrades can you spot in this photo? Perhaps I should surf my parts bin for a prize.
Maybe others could post their vans in this thread? We could have a mod/upgrade guessing thread that could actually be kinda fun.
Ok, I admit--beach camping with mimosas for breakfast has made me giddy.

Yabbut you can see the non-syncro filler on the B pillar!
Nice guess, though.

Extra points to snwbrdr for just looking through my profile posts. Well, that was easy.
Wife approves of the Eurovan seats in the Vanagon.

Your question is how many upgrades can you SPOT. Also replacing worn out original parts with new isn't necessarily an upgrade. What I spotted is 14.
I'm sure though that I may have missed one or two. |

Is that a stainless steel exhaust? I think I also see a O2 Cool 12V fan. _________________ 1990 Multivan - "Ohana"

Shurflo faucet
Window insulation blankets
I think I have 95% of these mods plus a few others, it is a disease. _________________ 1991 Westy auto w/ Peloquin TBD

Created a list one time, and keep it with the van - well over 100 different mods big and small. It's fun, and keeps me from wasting money on frivolous things like my kids' college funds.
Sweet looking ride. _________________ '85 Westy |
