| How rare is a Dec 1967 12V Deluxe Clock? Is it the last production month for the split clock? What is one worth? How much should I pay? Thanks. |

| Being a december of 67, i would think it was made as a spare part, to be used at the parts counter. As split window production would have ended. Any pics? Are you sure it's not a bay window clock? Or mercedes? |

| I am positive it is for a VW Split Bus. Has a blue VW stamp and is rectangle no round like a bay clock. 12/67 is marked in stamped ink and also heat impression stamped on the back cover. I have a late 6v clock and this one is identical except being 12V. I saw the one posted for sale for $600. Thought that was a little much bit then again it is the only 12V one on thesamba. As for the late production date, I assume it must have been a replacment part as Bay buses would have started production in late 67. I also have to assume it was one of the last split clocks made as Klienzl (sp?) Would have stopped making the 12V split clock afyer there was no demand. Maybe cleaning out their parts bins until stock was exhausted? |

The amount seriously depends on the condition. FWIW repo clocks are now available for $250

The photo above is one I took of the new repo.
I was told they were debuted at OCTO but I don't see them on the sites yet...
It is a good looking repo. |

The ad for $600 and doesn't even have a back cover? FWIW, the 6v runs just fine on 12v, if that's really what you're trying to achieve. |
