Has anyone in the US purchased a body kit for 80-91 Vanagon? I am looking for some cool looking ground effects for my custom restoration project. I see there is a German company KR-Styling that has some cool stuff but I can't find a retail website. Aside from the German company, are there any alternatives in the USA?

Have you considered the factory Carat body cladding with front spoiler?

This is Van belongs to Andreas, it's a Claer creation. The flares on this awesome Westfalia are of the Tristar variety. Claer massaged these to fit due to lowering the van and trimmed them to fit the side cladding. Look closely you can still see the lowered section of the flare in the corners of the arch.

Modified front luggage rack for better aerodynamics + Beautiful bodykit + Nice wheels = Gorgeous vanagon!!!

Crazy air scoop! That should help reduce some air intake noise by not running the air duck all the way up. Maybe I should put that in my TDI van?

Both kits, KR and Winkler is actually a copy of the Oettinger WBX6 body kit from the late 80s. Maybe they were both producer at the same place as Winkler has been out of stock on this for a while.

Ah yes, Oettinger! Forgot about that name...

So does that mean they do one full kit at a time per order? Or they will wait to get a certain quantity before producing them?

I do want a kit, but not before next year.

And just for you, Canadian VW...

So I did in fact get through to KR Styling in Germany and they informed me they have a kit ready for shipment. Their asking price is 1600 EU + Shipping. I was contacted by Bastian. Can anyone confirm this price is fair and if this is a legit contact?

I got in contact with Bastian via [email protected]. He has one kit ready for sale. I am electing not to take it. My wife decided that she is not into the low rider look. So you are free to grab it up if you can get through to him.
