I have a '58 panel w/ a divider. Probably not an original accessory, but it has four "deluxe" coat hooks in it. |

So pre 59 coathooks were a "deluxe" only item,

I don't know about being just pre-59 or just installed in deluxe model buses, but the deluxe hooks are unique and for some reason are in my 58 panel. |

I put a hook in my 59 double cab, like those shown above by vwtony2. The double cab had the holes and threaded metal piece for the screw standard from the factory. _________________ Sounding like a broken record as to why You should be measuring protein during harvest in order to better your agronomic practices. |

wrong style ('59-'63) and wrong model (deluxe only) but I would leave it.
dealerships would often install parts onto the wrong models. my '58 westy has a deluxe sunvisor on the passenger side. it has been there for a very long time, so I am assuming it was dealership or original owner installed. they also put a rear view mirror on the vent cover plate (rather than the windshield post) |
