I may tone down the tire size a bit. I'm thinking move the front wheels to the back and put something a bit smaller up front.
Other than that, it's staying a baja as long as I have it |

This is what I would call "Class 6 Style"...Not Class 11.
The old 1970s Class 6 was "Production Sedan" Class and included any production sedan sold in the US. From a Mustang to a VW Bug to a Saab to a Datsun to a Pinto to an Edsel to a 55 Chevy to a Falcon Ranchero. All of the above got raced successfully.
VW Bugs were so dominant in the class that they got banned to give the others a chance. Class 6 Bugs were almost identical to the Class 5 Baja Bugs of the day, except for the full body with fender flares.
This one was on the cover of the 1st HP Baja Bug book
It was built and raced by Don Rountree, of Sandwinder Offroad in Riverside, CA...source of both of the most common styles of "wide-eye Bajafront ends, including the most common style of 1-piece Baja front end. To this day (and I bought this book in 1970), this car has always been a source of inspiration for me. Note that its a right hand drive.
This is what your new car reminds me of. _________________ Richard

I'll keep that in mind! Thanks for providing that info.
I saw it back in the day, but from a distance and never got close enough to tell it was center seat. I DID inspect his Sandwinder buggies many times and he was always quite pleasant to deal with. His cars were always well prepped and always contenders for a win. _________________ Richard
