Anyone have a picture of the newer GB590 manifolds installed with a fresh air doghouse. The ones with the thicker tops. I was thinking to machine the thick tops down for some decklid clearance. I was wondering how close the fuel inlet on the carb is to the shroud normally. I guess I could turn around the carbs.

I just picked up a set today, damn they are heavy. Seems almost as heavy as the head. Need to port them just to lighten them up. 😎

The pictured ones aren't mine. I had them not put their name on. Look like CSP ones with thicker tops. I'll post a pic when I can. A before and after.

Here is a shot of mine on my ghia. It's a thing shroud, but may give you an idea. I had to dimple the side of the shroud a little bit. Will try to get a better picture tomorrow for you.

They sit a lot lower than I thought they would. I'll probably turn them around for some more space. Looks promising.

Here is the picture of the Earls fitting on my 48 IDA. See how the shroud is dimpled for clearance.
