Neiman/VW stampings but facing of lock tumbler of South American variety. Translation of TRAVA, DESL. , LIG. PARTIDA requested.....

Hi;

It appears that your lock comes from Brazil. My native language is Spanish, but I can handle basic Portuguese.

TRAVA= Lock

DESL. (short for DESLIGA?)= Unlock

LIG. PARTIDA = (something) Start

Hope this helps (and makes sense!).

Forgot the coma after LIG. as is separate from PARTADA. LIG. is an abbreviation looks like....

OK then:

LIG. is probably for LIGA= "Engage", or something of that sort.

So you have:

-Lock

-Unlock

-Engage

-Start
