Reproduction Middle Seat Bars

Does anybody know of reproduction middle seat bars being made?

I have tried for months to buy from Garybon in Chino, but it has been a colossal waste of time. No phone number and he NEVER returns e-mail. I have four friends that have told me they are experiencing the same frustrations.

Is he having medical/personal issues? Or is it just simply terrible customer service?

I have searched the classifieds for other reproduction vendors, but have found nothing.

Does anybody know of any other manufacturers of this item?

He is the only one I know of but there could be others.

I have never tried to buy from him via the mail.
I see you are in CA.
I always see him with a layout of them at OCTO, if you wait until the next event.
Maybe he goes to other shows too.

This is Gary, my friend just told me that he ran across your post.

I am alive and well and never was really sick a day in my life.

I sell the early middle seat grab bars as well a lot of other Bus parts. I check all my e-mails as they pop up and e-mail as quickly as I can. I do have a regular job and my schedule does vary from nights to days. So depending when an e-mail is sent to me, I'm probably sleeping or working which would account for a possible delay to a response. I would never intentionally not respond to an e-mail requesting my parts or any questions. I'm usually shipping parts world wide every other day.

I been into VW's, specifically Buses for the last 20 years. I own more than 20 buses from Barndoors up to 1967 with all kinds of different models. As Everett said, I'm at all the OCTO shows selling parts and talking shop.

I looked through all my e-mails for the past 6 months and didn't see any e-mail from you. I also check my junk e-mails every couple weeks just in case something comes up. I have all my e-mails for the past 10 years and very knowledgeable and diligent with everything I do. If you send an e-mail to one of my ads it will go to my [email protected] address which is linked to my phone. I just send myself an e-mail and it is working fine.

I don't know what happened, but I didn't get an e-mail from you. Also, I don't know who your friends are with these frustrations. If you are from O.C., most people know who I'am that are into buses. As I've been around the bus scene for a while now. I do respond to all e-mails that I get, I do send a lot a replays out. If someone really needs to contact me via phone, I will send them my number via e-mail. I haven't had any problems before, so this is something new for me.
