Wolf Creek Campout: Prescott AZ - 8/21&22

been meaning to post this up for a while, but--would you believe--I've been so damn busy working on VWs that it's down to the last minute now!

so, we are having a small bus gathering at Lower Wolf Creek Forrest Camp this weekend.
the site located about 10 miles south of Prescott on Indian Creek Rd via Senator Highway.

it's ten bucks a night with an additional five for another vehicle in your space.
we will reserve a group of spots on thursday night and if you want one PM me.

2 miles of maintained dirt road to get there.
bathroom facilities, picnic table, fire pit, "primitive" camping, VW buses.

with this few days of rain the creeks should be flowing nicely
AND dry, coolish weather is predicted for the weekend to boot!
get out of that desert heat and spend a weekend in historic prescott!
town is only about a 20 minute drive away.

i have 4 confirmed spots as of right now.
it looks like we can get a big group spot that is clustered together with other sites right around it.

the CG is first-come-first-serve, so the only "reservations" are by PMing me.

indeed there are some great trails right around the camp.
and there may be some alcoholic beverages consumed...you know how these VW bus people are

we've decided to postpone one week in order that more local folks can come.
so in turn, all of you might have some more time to plan on coming as well.

Damn, we are headed down to Pine/Strawberry to pre~ride the Fire on the Rim course, and set up the kids race. I just saw this listed on the ol fb ghostie page. I going to check in and see if there is another pre ride dat coming up, I think there may just be....
