left Heat Deflector Tin

I am missing the left Heat Deflector Tin and I see two versions. One has a hole in it one does not. Which would be correct for both a 73 Beetle and a 74 Thing,

The version without the hole would be correct for both; the one with the hole is for earlier Bugs with small diameter carb preheat hose.

What about the right side deflector isn't it diffrent also? For the life of me it's not the same as the left? Any help on this maybe pics and where I can get FI (Fuel Injection for us Novise) tins?
