How's your Champagne runnin' these days? |
Barely. I started a new career so vacation and $$ are scarce at the moment. It was running good most of the summer then it started to pitch a fit about 3 weeks ago. I parked it in the garage and walked away. BUT, it will be out this weekend for a bath, a new TSII and new vacuum lines all the way around. |

Sorry to hear that man. Hopefully a new temp sensor and vacuum lines all around will make it purr again.
I for one, would like a picture or two after its bath. lol _________________ -Tony

Here's mine. My Champagne is kinda crusty and gets used a lot, which is why I decided to convert it to a TDI motor and didn't feel too bad about the modifications that were necessary.
Here's my M-Code Plate (super dirty, eww!). I held my phone up over it and took a bunch of pics until I ended up with a readable one. (If the photo disappears, its because I originally uploaded it to the wrong category and then changed it. If that happens, I'll edit the post.)
Here's the decoded info:

We're at 33 Champagne II buses! That's only 19 from disproving the rumors.
Collie, your Champagne Bus is BITCHING as all hell. Thank you for sharing. We're gonna have to find you some chrome bumpers one of these days! _________________ -Tony

I'm a polyamorous lover. What can I say?
It's actually the stance, the wheels, and the OG paint that really pitch my tent LOL

Excuse me? Where where where? Don't make me go all Bill Sullivan on you and make you go pull its m-code info!
But could u go get it's build date and the VIN?
Thanks for buzzing in dudes!
And to keep up the pace of having photos on each page, I'll share a couple of beauties:
Frau Shmecklesniffer:
My bus:
A Champagne Riviera in Tulsa, someday I'll bump into them. Passed them once on a OCAC cruise.
My old bastard middle child, lots of potential. Long gone. Reminds of Kirk's Bear.
I believe a 'Champagne buses and builds' post is in order. _________________ -Tony

Found 3 more, list is now at 40 for CEII's. If we can find 13 more, the rumor of '52 were made, 26 to the US and 26 to Canada' will be laid to rest. woot woot _________________ -Tony
