I believe 06/51 should have the non logoed ones. I don't know when they started to use the Hella logo but I think it was around 52? But I'm not sure... If someone has any knowledge of when they changed please chime in. Thanks
Both style are unbelievably nice! |

Where do I find safari frame to body seals? They look to be the same as pop out seals, only longer. |

Have you tried Wolfsburg West? Maybe a physical phone call and ask for a longer length unglued of the pop out seal? _________________ www.blastserv.com

When I did my first set of safaris WW made a set of rubber for me the length I needed as they had rolls of the rubber back then. Last time I tried that they said they no longer can do it as they have the rubber premade , cut and glued now from overseas. Might be worth a try though as this was a few years back. Maybe it's possible again ? I will need some again. Otherwise I had to get a few pop out sets and cut an glue them together. _________________ www.thebustransfer.com

Would the barndoor emblem have the line between the V and the W like in the picture?:

Yes, looking at 8 or 9 different dash pictures, it does look that way.
Maybe the solid badge evolved?
Edit:

I've been under the impression that the following is true:
Solid like the one in the picture without a horizontal line between the V and W is early 1950 and back.
Solid with a line between the V and W is mid 1950 - early 52 (split window era)
Then it goes into the 1953-1960 version |

From June 1949 to March 1950 it was the logo with the V and W touching. From March 1950-October 1952 it was the logo with teh space between the V and W |

So that KN repro badge is incorrect for a Barndoor. _________________ -StockRocks-
