You can us a standard short flute, flat bottom, no corner radii 16mm Endmill.
You can buy one from McMaster-Carr

mine has a guide on it so it doesnt effup the bore.
Ive seen the later hyd cases that have the oil gally offset about 2~3 mm and they were chattered all to hell when they were serfaced from the factory.probably due to the offset oil gally hole

I ground several before and they are all gone/sold. Im not sure when I can make them again.

It is not that hard to make them if you have a cylindrical grinder.

Don't use an endmill as it will cut the inside walls and that will really screw up the case. The tool should only allow an end-cut....not a sidewall cut.

End mill will work but it does not take much to cut mag. I made mine from a french moped crank. Just have to find a something 18mm and sharpen it!

I thought they needed to be 16mm or is it 18mm.

I didn't want to get to technical, mine has a guide that screws into the plug hole and the flutes have been relieved from about .03 from the eop of the end-mill so that no side cutting can happen. I also believe mine is a .625 diameter. I should go out and measure it and take a picture. Embarassed

i went ala vw owner cheap!! Laughing
gorilla glue sand paper cloth to the bottom of an old plunger inserted tap on the other side and bam!! add to drill and enjoy...

mine is a modified shortened sharpened ,reamer with a sleve for a guide and protection. the sand paper method may work, just be sure to keep it clean.

I had a machinist friend tap, thread and make a stem for my end mill. Gotta be delicate when drilling with the press and it's usually just a skim off the surface flat. Ran into too many cases with pounded relief valve seats.
