Anyone know what this hole is for?
It's in the chrome trim on the top of the door, there's one at the other end too. |

Sorry Joh, but I don't mean the slot, if you look above it, you will see that there is a threaded hole. |

Please help. I know this part belongs somewhere in the steering mechanism at the top under the steering wheel. But where?
My car is '68 RHD coupe.

I just posted on your thread..but in case you check here first, it's the turn signal cancelling ring...mounts to the bottom of your steering wheel base. |

Thanks. It makes sense and explains the note I made 2 years ago when I took the car apart. I'll reassemble everything tomorrow. _________________ Festina lente - hasten slowly

It is the turn signal canceling ring but it appears to have been modified/cut to adapt to something.... rubbing problem maybe? Or to fit to a different steering wheel? _________________ "Sometimes people forget they signed up to a HELP & SHARE Forum not a pissing contest"

I recently took my engine out and this fell out from somewhere while undoing screws. I can't figure out where it goes or what it's called, any help is much appreciated.

Never saw any of these rare fender mount mirrors before for a ghia, only on a 65-67 bug inside _________________ Rick

Hello everyone.
I been scouring this site and its been such a tremendous help.
I recently acquired @69 Ghia as my daily driver. I'm a huge newbie to all of this so I apologise in advance for some questions..
The previous owner put a 1915 cc engine with less than 2k miles on it. Looks like the car sat in garage for quite some time . Upon looking at the engine I was wondering what part is this .. The upper left hand corner at about the 10 o'clock position..
Thank you all |
