I'm glad you got another notch, it's not the same seeing you in a baywindow. I have an Mini right now, it is evidence that God hates me. I really miss my old notch. It really was a great car. I'd love to see your car when you get it! _________________ 2017 Golf Alltrack

Paying penance in a Mini.
You didn't go to XXX? |
I totally forgot about it! I looked it up yesterday to see when it was.
The Mini is a POS. In order to do any work on it you have to disassemble the entire front end of the car and in the 4 months I've had it I've taken the front end apart 3 times. Or you can pay the very few shops willing to work on them. Prices start at $1k. And because it's made by BMW, parts are at a premium. _________________ 2017 Golf Alltrack

Hey buddy Jason! That is another wonderful looking notchback. I guess, with that Notch now, the Type 2 itch will settle a little bit. And you will be spending more time with the notch, I call "NACHO CHOCO"
"NACHO CHOCO"...... hhhuummnn.. wouldn't that be a cool name, buddy Jason? _________________ '67 KG Cabrio (Mickey) ;

Is this a push button or push pull car?
Saw it's twin (nutria/pearl roof) last night in square form. Needs resto, but would be a very cool pair parked next to each other. _________________ Patrick

Good question.
I've not pushed for any shipping as of yet - because I'm heavily relying on Mark Goldsmith in the UK. This guy is worth his weight in gold. He is the guy that makes any large overseas purchases - at least the UK and Europe, happen. If he wasn't assisting then the car would go RoRo - roll on roll off a boat.
But because I have 10 Westfalia trailers as well I'm getting a container for it all. Thats where you need a guy like Mark on the front end. Soon he will put it all together for me and have it picked up. I don't have any solid dead line - due to the lack of sales for all things cool VW in the Winter. So when he has time these next few months - they should ship.
Yes Im excited to get the stuff. But I can wait for my late X-Mas gifts _________________

Yesterday was spent unloading the trailer - wait what? YES it all arrived! Yeah! Big thanks to my cousin, the two guys that work for him and my brother from another mother - Stewart who came down and lended a hand.
So thats a pallet with two trailers in it for consvws, my notch then 10 Westfalia Essen Trailers.
I had to get a flatbed tow to ramp me out - ended up just taking it to the house. Then had to put all the trailers into another trailer - took two trips. But it all got done.
Right now Im just taking it all in. Lots of good and bad to look over. Comes with the territory in sight unseen overseas purchasing. All in all Im happy and glad I did it. Watch this space and maybe a future trailer thread as well.
Oh, the money shot. Or is that monies? I bought more than just trailers and notchbacks. You cant buy from Mario and just get one thing can you? He furnished a cat eye. Then the other fellow - Mark, he satisfied a hazet crush Ive been having as well. More shots of the NOS goodies to come..................
